Updated Protocols for COVID-19

LIFESONG BAPTIST CHURCH

COVID-19 SAFETY GUIDANCE

NOVEMBER 10, 2020

Due to the updated mandates from the governor’s office and the Arkansas Department of Health for places of worship,  LifeSong has implemented the following guidance.  Our goal is to have the safest environment possible during this pandemic.    If you have questions or concerns, please let us know.

Temperature checks will continue to be performed.

Everyone ages 10+ attending church will be required to wear a face mask the entire time they are inside the church facility.

Everyone from different households must maintain 6-foot distancing.

Every other pew will be marked off for seating.  The fellowship hall is available for overflow to insure appropriate distancing can be maintained.

Ushers will direct congregants to open seating from front to back when they arrive.

Church will be dismissed by pews from front to back at the end of the service and congregants will exit through the side doors.

Children’s Church will be moved to Wednesday night in place of Sunday morning.

Children’s Church kids will attend worship with their parents on Sunday morning.

Children’s Choir is cancelled until further notice.

Nursery through preschool will stay in their respective rooms through the entire Sunday morning worship service.

Youth will continue to meet in the fellowship hall on Wednesdays.  Masks must be worn.

Sunday school will continue to meet.  Masks must be worn.  Each class is responsible for disinfecting their room after each class.

We ask that handshaking and embracing be avoided for the time being.

We encourage the frequent use of hand sanitizer at the touchless stations provided.

Thank you for your cooperation in this time as we strive to continue moving forward while keeping everyone as safe as we can.

Thanksgiving Boxes

It is about that time again. Time for holiday planning, feast throwing, and the season that reminds us to give thanks everyday for the many blessings God has given, and continues to give to us, his children.

This year, if you are needing a Thanksgiving Box to meet your needs in feeding your family, we are, in fact, making boxes. Please contact us by calling the church @ (501) 679-0500, and leave a message with your name and contact information so that we can get back to you in a timely manner. Orders are due by November 15th, and pickup will be available on November 22nd between 2pm and 4pm.

Please keep praying. Your prayers go far, and are answered in big ways, as proven time and time again. Remember to always give thanks for the many blessing we receive.

Seeking Safety

We are hosting Addicts Anonymous-type meetings on Tuesday nights at 6:30 for recovery from substance abuse and trauma. It is a safe environment ideal for fellowship, bonding, and sharing.
